Harvest in Summer at Whimsy ?

When we were asked if we could create a "Fall" display for a certain magazine (which we will divulge when it comes out!) that is shooting both Whimsy shops, I thought no problem.

But, mind you, Summer has barely shown up this year--nice and cool---I am not complaining.

So, creating Harvest should be easy, or so I thought.

I decided it was going to just have tones of Harvest and this is what I

managed to come up with.

I love the cursive of the antique immigrant trunks so I featured two of them
on a long vintage Amish wedding table!
I scattered antique family photos throughout the vignette, alongside
silverplate and mercury glass and hammered aluminum.

Had to throw in my whimsical touches--fresh flowers in a 1950's canister set.

And of course a vintage Aunt Jemima bottle turned-bell!

Hope you can stop by to see it soon, before Fall is "really" here!

Very nicely done! I was in Carpinteria today and meant to stop by...but ran out of time. Shouldaveknown that you'd have some new items and displays. Will stop in soon.
