New Finds Wednesday

 More gorgeous vintage quilts are in! Take a look at these beauties!

 Handmade birds by our very own Ranell have flown into her space and are hanging out by all the cool old birdhouses, of different sizes and shapes. 

 Love the vintage house that jack built! This might be cute as a repurposed lamp?!

 In the above picture, we have depression, vaseline, slag and jadeite...

 Laurinda has created some adorable dishtowels and love this bird image!

 Above is a darling lamp in Brianna's space. Love this sweet antique piece!

 Words written on one of our chalkboard walls....it is nice that the younger audience 

appreciates Whimsy!

Vintage Fashion Friday--at the Chocolate shop!

 This week, our shoot was at the amazing Chocolat du CaliBressan

The owner of this wonderful chocolate shop, Jean-Michel Carre, is known as the french chocolatier 

of the American Riviera!  Everyone in our town of Carpinteria is very familiar with this hot spot and 

tourists ask frequently for directions! When you are in town, don't miss it!

The gorgeous purple vintage dress, teamed up with a retro hat and thin leather belt look

stunning for any occasion, especially a trip to chocolate heaven!

 Continuing with the purple theme, we have a soft lilac vintage dress, and light tan hat.

 The detailing of this dress is stunning and soft.

 Take a pause for a cup of coffee.....wonderful vintage leather clutch! 

 Whimsy has lots of fun costume jewelry, as well as antique estate jewelry. Here is a detail of

some fun costume earrings.

New Finds Wednesday

 Lots of fun "in store" for you at Whimsy this week!

Check out the vintage wrap around melon skirt with the flower eatin' giraffe!

 Just in is the vintage folk art school bus crate on wheels. Still have a few of the vintage

school chairs! We had 18 and down to 5--but they are just fabulous! Solid oak with 

a few layers of paint on from years ago.

 Love this amazing seated beauty. She fits right in to fun around her!

 This 3 piece child's vintage set has been recently refreshed in this gorgeous turquoise. 

 Above we have a carved wood bench with grape motif and we found some 

fabulous antique leather music books.  

 We have a load of numbers for you--a whole crate full--so you can pick your lucky numbers! 

 How about this awesome vintage Dancing Sign?! This would add some punch to any room!

 Vintage buttons and trims galore, at both shops.Love these that are displayed on old wood spools.

 And of course, tons of vintage enamalware at both Whimsy stores!

Mother's Day is this weekend and we have unique gifts that will please any MOM!

Vintage Fashion Friday

A continuation from last week, we are still at the lovely ranch--

and pictured above and below is an elegant red vintage blazer.

Lovely vintage jewelry,handbag, top and pants complete the outfit.

Whimsy has a HUGE assortment of vintage jackets, sweaters, and coats!

This vintage dress and beaded sweater set is stunning!

Versatility with this outfit goes a long way and you can always

wear the sweater with your favorite jeans and creamy white t.

 The wool vintage shawl is great for the ranch, but you could wear it to the beach, shopping

downtown, on a stroll, or grab it for some cozy warmth on a chilly afternoon.

at prices you won't believe! Love the beaded earrings! I buy samples from a 

jewelry distributor and pass on the wonderful savings and unique designs to you!
