Oh, how we love babies and children at Whimsy!
Now, we have devoted a whole room to the precious children where you can find vintage
decor and all sorts of treasures to inspire (even grown-ups)!

We're in the new Carpinteria magazine!!

A while ago, we were told that Whimsy was going to be featured in the

Winter issue of the gorgeous Carpinteria Magazine.

Our challenge was to create a Fall/Winter look in the heat of summer,

when the photographer was going to shoot for the article.

It was actually a blast to redo an area with a purpose in mind,

and they seemed to appreciate our efforts as they snapped away.

It was wonderful to see the creativity the folks at the
magazine have, as they put together a perfect
selection of photographs for the spread.
We were so pleased that they covered both our stores!

Maria, of Just me again stopped in our shop and had the nicest things to say! here in her words (and with her permission of course) :

'The next day, we went vintage shopping at the cutest little shops in Carpinteria; stopped by Starbucks, had breakfast/lunch at a local spot and then headed back home. One of my favorite shops is called Whimsy. They have dozens of vintage cameras to fall in love with! I ended up getting a tiny brownie holiday camera. The cutest thing ever! '
